A Place For New Beginnings

From 2004 to 2009, our church has made annual trips to the Dominican Republic. Our hosts were people from the Missionary Baptist Church in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Each year from 20-30 have gone to work on constructing a new hurricane-proof church building out in one of the barrios (slums).

ran several Vacation Bible Schools in different bateys (sugar cane villages), held a clinic with basic medical care and free prescription drugs, visited a Christian orphanage and made great friends with the people in the church. We look forward to returning next year with more people, to do more ministries for more of God’s glory! Won’t you pray about going with us next year?
