Reading the Bible in 2010
God's Word is crucial to the spiritual life of the believer.
Through His Word, God transforms our hearts and minds, teaches us truth about Himself and His world, corrects us, trains us and tells us what He desires for us.
In 2010, I want to encourage everyone to read through the Bible in a chronological order. This means that you and I will read the events as they happened, not in the order in which the books appear in the Bible.
This means that in January, the story of Job will be read before the story of Abraham. Many other times during the year the plan will have you digging through different parts of the Bible, to see things as they happened.
May God bless you in your reading of His Word,
Pastor Tim
