No Church on Feb. 7
Dear friends,
11 The LORD delights in those who fear him,
who put their hope in his unfailing love.
12 Extol the LORD, O Jerusalem;
praise your God, O Zion,
13 for he strengthens the bars of your gates
and blesses your people within you.
14 He grants peace to your borders
and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.
15 He sends his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.
16 He spreads the snow like wool
and scatters the frost like ashes.
Psalm 147:11-16 (NIV)
God has once again chosen to abundantly bless us with a wooly covering of beautiful snow.
Because of the abundance of this kind of blessing, we will not have Sunday School or worship service tomorrow morning.
One big concern is that even if the parking lot could be plowed this afternoon or tonight, there will be a lot of wind and drifting tonight that might close the parking lot again.
Many people come from quite a distance for our services, and we just wanted to play it safe for everyone.
So this weekend we encourage you to open the Word at home and allow God's truth to guide your choices this week.
We'll be doing a puzzle. I might even look at the box.
In His Grace,
Pastor Tim
